Framed Persian Pictorial Silk & Wool Souf Carpet ("The Cascade of Dreams")

This striking Persian pictorial Souf carpet captures an allegorical landscape where human form flows seamlessly into nature. The composition depicts a serene profile of a figure reclining backward, whose hair cascades downward to transform into a dramatic, luminous waterfall flowing through rocky canyon walls beneath a golden, moody sky and stylized tropical fronds.

The color palette features a rich harmony of warm amber, deep wood tones, turquoise blue, and vibrant golden-yellow highlights. Enhanced by the fine relief-weave texture and luminous sheen signature to high-density Souf craftsmanship, the piece is presented in an ornate, antique carved frame—an extraordinary, surrealist masterpiece combining imaginative storytelling with master Persian textile art.
