Framed Persian Pictorial Silk & Wool Souf Carpet ("The Secret Garden Gate")

This enchanting Persian pictorial Souf carpet captures a serene, romantic garden portal woven with exquisite depth and impressionistic nuance. The scene depicts an open, ornate wrought-iron gate set between stone pillars topped with classical finials, leading onto a sunlit cobblestone path framed by lush, blooming floral garden beds.

The composition is brought to life through a soft, vibrant palette of gentle lavender, blush pink, magenta, warm ochre, soft sky blue, and verdant green tones. Characterized by the fine relief-weave texture and luminous sheen signature to high-density Souf weaving, this work is presented in a heavily carved, antique gold-finished frame—a sophisticated blend of fine landscape painting and master textile art.
