Framed Persian Pictorial Silk & Wool Souf Carpet ("The Bather by the Stream")

This striking Persian pictorial Souf carpet depicts a classical mythological scene featuring a graceful bather resting beside a flowing stream. The composition shows a draped female figure seated amidst lush foliage, floral arrangements, and architectural stone elements, with a white pitcher resting nearby.

The color palette features a sophisticated blend of warm golden tones, terracotta brown, creamy ivory, deep emerald green, and rich blue accents. Enhanced by the fine relief texture and luminous sheen signature to high-density Souf craftsmanship, the piece is presented in an ornate, antique carved frame—an exceptional fusion of classical narrative art and master Persian textile weaving.
