Framed Persian Pictorial Silk & Wool Souf Carpet ("The Swing of Romance")

This romantic Persian pictorial Souf carpet captures an idyllic, pastoral love scene woven with painterly grace. The composition depicts a young maiden in a flowing, tiered blush-pink gown riding a vine-draped swing, tenderly attended by her companion amidst a lush, sun-dappled garden surrounded by blossoming flowers and verdant trees.

The vibrant color palette features soft rose pink, crisp white, forest green, warm gold, and earth tones, brought to life through the fine relief texture and luminous sheen signature to high-density Souf weaving. Presented in a classical, molded gold-finished frame, this fine textile artwork effortlessly combines European Romanticism with master Persian weaving art.
