Framed Persian Pictorial Silk & Wool Souf Carpet ("Flora and the Offering")

This captivating Persian pictorial Souf carpet renders a mythical, allegorical scene filled with romantic symbolism. The composition features an ethereal female figure with flowing blue-tinted hair and a crown of pink blossoms, accompanied by a bearded elder, delicate songbirds, and an ornamental chalice set amidst a lush garden of pink flowers.

The color palette features a soft harmony of dusty rose, pale blue, warm gold, deep green, and creamy ivory. Enhanced by the fine relief-weave texture and subtle sheen signature to high-density Souf craftsmanship, the piece is presented in an ornate, antique carved gold-finished frame—an exquisite synthesis of imaginative narrative art and master Persian textile weaving.
