Framed Persian Pictorial Silk & Wool Souf Carpet ("The White Stallion")

This striking Persian pictorial Souf carpet captures a regal white Arabian stallion prancing through a sun-dappled woodland clearing. Woven with remarkable realism, the composition highlights the stallion’s flowing mane, raised tail, and elegant posture set against a vivid background of lush green foliage and sunlit golden trees.

The palette pairs brilliant ivory and silvery-white tones with vibrant forest greens, olive, lime, and warm sunlight hues, brought to life through the fine relief texture and luminous sheen signature to Souf craftsmanship. Encased in a richly carved, classic gold-finished frame, this magnificent tapestry is a sophisticated statement piece celebrating grace, power, and master textile art.
