Persian Silk & Wool Souf Rug ("Azure Distressed Lattice")

This dynamic Persian Souf rug blends tribal-geometric lattice motifs with a heavily distressed, painterly modern aesthetic. The composition features an under-grid of repeating geometric lozenges and medallion motifs, heavily eroded across a textured neutral ground with dramatic color pooling in opposite corners.

The expressive color palette contrasts a cool silver-gray and ivory field with vivid splashes of sapphire blue, cerulean, and subtle rust-brown accents. Expertly crafted with the signature raised relief-weave texture and radiant metallic sheen of high-density silk-and-wool Souf construction, and finished with delicate fringe along the ends, this unframed floor covering serves as a captivating contemporary piece bridging ancient Persian motifs with modern abstract art.
